BiOptic Inc. is stepping into the Fast Growing Period of Business!

In the year 2011, BiOptic Inc. strategically entered the biomolecules analysis (nucleic acid testing) market by launching the newly designed fully automated, single-channel Capillary Gel Electrophoresis instrument; the patented Qsep100^TM product. 

BiOptic’s fully-automated nucleic acid analysis system (Qsep100) utilizes micro-capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE) technology with fluorescence detection (patented). Which utilizes reusable pen-shaped gel-cartridge (patented) efficiently analyzing diverse sample types, from small RNA to genomic DNA. Past six years BiOptic has installed more than 300 units worldwide focusing mainly the Asian markets.

The fully automated Qsep100 systems replaces the traditional labor intensive manually operated slab gel electrophoresis technologies and provides high-resolution (1-4 bp) high-detection sensitivity (~ 0.1 ng / μl) results in 2-5 minutes of sample analysis. The fully automated Qsep100 system can process 1-96 samples for life science research, clinical diagnostics, pharmaceutical, food industry, animal husbandry and agriculture, performing diagnostic analysis in the molecular genetic testing.

Since the launch of Qsep100 Bio-fragment Analyzer in 2011, BiOptic has successfully completed the development and introduction of additional CGE-based products of Qsep1 (Portable Single-Channel CGE System) in 2017 and Qsep400 (High-Throughput Multi-Channel CGE System) in 2018. And have extended it’s product lines by developing and introducing Direct-PCR reagent and detection kits – such as DirectGO^TM, ExpressGO^TM, AccuGO^TM and ALDH2 test kits for research and diagnostics, including the introduction of portable mini-PCR thermocycler (Qamp^TM) in 2017.

BiOptic is also the OEM business partner of ProZyme Inc., for the Gly-Q^TM Glycan Analysis System for rapid analysis of oligosaccharides such as N-glycans (https://prozyme.com/products/gly-q-glycan-analysis-system-gq2100).
