Nucleic acid quantification has always been a very important step in life science research. The traditional quantitative devices are based on the spectrophotometric analysis. In addition to the traditional cuvette spectrophotometer, the latest improved instruments are NanoDrop and Qubit. However, it can only provide the overall amount of nucleic acid and lack of sensitivity. In the third quarter of 2019, BiOptic launched a new quantitative kit (C105201-Q & C105202-Q), which can obtain single fragment content, total amount, the proportion of each fragment and size of each fragment at one time. Compared with traditional spectrophotometric analysis, the sensitivity of Qsep series is greatly increased by a thousand times to reach the "picogram" level.


The entire process is quite simple, just mix the reagent in the kit with the sample to be tested, the sample can be quantified and characterized by Q-Analyzer 3.0 software in 2 to 5 minutes.
